Dr. Anda Kuo is a Professor in Pediatrics at UCSF and is leading the new UCSF Collective for Child Health Equity.  Dr. Kuo is a graduate of the UCSF School of Medicine where she also completed a residency and chief resident year in pediatrics. She participated in the Harvard Macy Institute’s Educators in the Health Professions Program and the UCSF Teaching Scholars Program and is a certified practitioner of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. Her passion is empowering healthcare providers to be leaders who will transform the health of patients and communities. 

She works closely with the American Academy of Pediatrics to develop their community health and advocacy training resources and recently served as a Commissioner of First Five San Francisco. She was the founding director of the UCSF Pediatric Leadership for the Underserved residency program and is the UCSF Academy of Medical Educators’ Endowed Chair in Pediatrics Education. She teaches medical students and residents and sees patients in her adolescent clinic at San Francisco General Hospital.
